What is reverse osmosis?
Reverse osmosis (RO) is the gold standard for water purification. Other water filters merely screen dirt and sediment particles, but reverse osmosis uses high pressure to push drinking water through a semi-permeable membrane to purify at the molecular level. This separates out larger contaminant molecules while allowing smaller water molecules to pass through.
What is the Pristive™ System certified to filter out of drinking water?
The Pristive™ System is certified to reduce more than 90 contaminants from drinking water when tested against National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) standards, including: lead, total PFAS, arsenic, bacteria, chlorine, chromium, copper, TDS, mercury, microplastics, pharmaceuticals, and heavy metals. It’s certified for more than 99% reduction of total PFAS, bacteria, viruses, and cysts.
The Pristive™ Tankless Reverse Osmosis System is certified against ASSE 1086 as well as NSF 42, 53, 58, P231, 372, 401.
How does water from the Pristive™ System taste?
The Pristive™ System can enhance taste in two ways:
