BELO® PULL-OUT FAUCET BRINGS ART AND DRAMA INTO THE KITCHEN
Fluid Faucet Design Features New Technologies
INDIANAPOLIS - More sculpture than faucet fixture, the Belo® (bell-oh) pull-down from the Brizo® brand, the fashion faucet brand, portrays confidence with its elegant form while providing a superior experience in both functionality and durability.
"Portuguese for 'beautiful', Belo borrows its sculptural inspiration from confident curves," said Laura Brooks, Brizo brand senior brand manager. "Its artful, fluid elegance is also the muse for an unparalleled blend of functionality and transitional style."
Belo offers a four-function pull-out wand featuring spray, stream, volume control and pause functions. It also features the Brizo MagneDockTM magnetic docking technology, which utilizes a powerful magnet to securely lock the wand into the faucet spout. The intuitive MagneDock design makes the wand extremely easy to engage and disengage, and allows Belo to maintain its sweeping, artful form and flawless appearance when the wand is docked.
Belo features Delta Faucet Company's exclusive patented DIAMONDTM Seal Technology, a breakthrough innovation in water delivery. Comprised of one-piece InnoFlexTM waterways, the system ensures that once inside the faucet water is not in contact with potential metal contaminants[1], such as brass, copper or lead. DIAMOND Seal Technology also reduces the number of potential leak points, simplifies installation and provides long lasting performance.
At the heart of Belo's lead-free waterway system is the DIAMOND valve, an integrated ceramic valve cartridge featuring one ceramic disc and one diamond-embedded ceramic disc. As the two discs move against each other the diamond-embedded disc constantly polishes the uncoated ceramic disc, removing calcium and mineral deposits. The valve requires no lubrication, eliminates wear on seals, and ensures "like new" operation for life.
Belo is available in Polished Chrome and Brilliance® Stainless Steel finishes in single-hole; 2-hole with matching soap dispenser; and matching bar/prep configurations. Accessories include a matching soap dispenser, bud vase and decorative escutcheon plate (for 3-hole installations).
[1] California Health and Safety Code 116875 (AB 1953) and Vermont Law No. 193 (S152) and upcoming national legislation mandate that the weighted average lead content in pipes, fittings and fixtures used to convey drinking water cannot exceed 0.25% on wetted surfaces.
